Forums links that don’t get removed: what patterns make them “stick”?

I’m trying to build a sustainable presence in a few niche communities, and I’m noticing how picky forums can be about links. Some posts get edited, some links turn into plain text, and some URLs are hidden until you’re logged in or reach a trust level.

Deep links usually survive better than homepages. A homepage can look like “visit my site,” while a specific tutorial/checklist/tool page looks like “here’s the exact resource for your exact question.” It’s a small change, but it changes how your intent is perceived. If you’re trying to keep forums links https://backlink.forum/ clean, aim for the most specific, most relevant page possible.
